Kayak-Steneby river (half day)
Program
You will start at our facility and paddle your way north in Stenebyälven, an adventurous stretch of water where you might have to lift your kayaks past a few obstacles. After about 2-3 hours you will arrive at the rapids where we will meet you and load up the kayaks for transport back to Dalslands Aktiviteter.

Nature trail - Guided tour
Our newly built 1.1 km long walking trail “Stenebyleden” along the river Stenebyälven provides our visitors with the chance to explore and closely experience our grand nature and its inhabitants like the freshwater pearl mussel, fungi and lichens.
Our knowledgeable guides show you traces from the last ice age, natures amazing interactions, how some of its inhabitants live and more. The trail is well suited for both wheelchairs and baby carriages. A guided tour takes approximately an hour.

Rent Fishing Kayak - Full day
A really cool experience to catch fish in a fishing kayak!
Take the opportunity to rent one of our fishing kayaks, stable with catamaran hull, rod holders, pedal drive and plenty of storage.
It’s up to you to decide whether you want them in the road or on Lake LAx.

Gold panning
The start of our business when we made a claim 1989 and the fantastic thing is that we still find gold, all naturally in the Stenebyälven.
Learn the technique that from several kilos of gravel, small grains of gold are produced in less than 1 gram. Requires patience and accuracy but the feeling when you succeed is almost indescribable!

Beaver safari - With guide
he beaver is an impressive animal, an unmatched engineer that cares for its family with passion. Here you will have the opportunity to meet these animals in their natural environment. Spotting the beavers is not easy and there is no guarantee that you will, but once you do it will be well worth your while.
Our guides show you the Beaver’s settlement and its imprint in nature and are with you in the evening or morning to get the best opportunity to see these shy animals. Duration approx. 3 hrs, transfer included.
Price 595 sek per person for a guided beaver safari on foot alt. 795 sek per person for guided beaver safari by canoe. Refreshments are included in both events.

Bushcraft
What is Bushcraft perhaps you ask?
Bushcraft is a relatively new concept in something very old. It’s simply about knowledge! Knowledge of nature, about which traces are left there, which plants can be eaten, about fire and its significance for survival and a lot of other things.
This is something we gladly share, during 2-3 hours you can learn more about nature, about the fire, about the animals and about the plants. Perfect to combine with our outdoor cooking if you want a longer arrangement.

rent a SUP, stand up paddle board
SUP – Stand Up Paddle Board has become very popular in recent years and we understand why! It’s an almost magical feeling to glide across the lake standing on a board. Here you really feel at one with nature and it’s equally suitable for adults and children, although you must be able to swim. We start from the facility and you paddle on the lake Iväg.
Price 300 sek per board for half a day.
You can choose morning (10.00-14.00) or afternoon (14.00-18.00). Of course, paddle and life jacket are included.

Bring your friends or the whole family and go on a fishing adventure in Dalsland.
At Dalslands Aktiviteter in Steneby you can stay in a spacious cottage right by the lake. Take a boat out on the lake to fish, go ziplining or just enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest.
When you arrive at Dalslands Aktiviteter, you will get a briefing on the fishing experience and a quick look in our pike aquarium. Then you will get 2 boats (4 meters) with 4-stroke engine (9.9 hp), life jackets, packed lunch and a map with good fishing spots. Now a day on the lake awaits and hopefully you will be able to bring your dinner home.
In the afternoon you can stay in Sjöstugan which has 6 rooms/8 beds. The cottage has a large shared kitchen with freezer and fridge, 2 toilets/showers and a large living room. In the evening a barbecue dinner is delivered, which you grill yourself at the cottage. Bring warm clothes for the outdoors and swimwear.
Both a wood-fired sauna and a hot tub are available for booking.
Breakfast is in the fridge in the cottage and the next day may bring more fishing or one of the other adventurous activities the farm offers.

* Fishing license required and you can buy it yourself via www.ifiske.se
On arrival a deposit of 500 SEK/boat for fuel and fishing equipment and 1000 SEK for the cottage will be charged. Lost drags will be replaced with 75kr/drag and broken rods with 500kr/rod.
Fill up with petrol or replace with 20kr/litre.
**The price is calculated for six people, with arrival date Friday or Saturday.
There is a maximum of eight people in the cottage, which has six bedrooms. If you are less than six people, the price per person will be slightly higher. If you are more than six people, the price per person will be slightly lower.
